Shannon Haskett, MPT


Shannon brings a wealth of experience and interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. A 1995 graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education, Exercise and Sports Science, Shannon received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 1998.

Prior to joining Nantahala Physical Therapy, Shannon worked in Charlotte for Carolinas HealthCare System at Carolina Rehabilitation – Pineville. Her experience includes treating patients with orthopedic and sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation and general neurological rehabilitation. She also has previous work experience with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center – CompRehab Plaza in Winston-Salem where she helped develop the WFUBMC Osteoporosis Wellness Program.

Shannon and her husband, Keith, live in Webster and have one son, Hunter.  Shannon’s personal interests include playing golf, running, hiking, gardening, exercise and fitness.
